The DUAA 2025 strengthens and clarifies your rights as a data subject. These include:

• ‍Right of access: You have the right to obtain confirmation of whether we process personal data about you and, if so, to receive a copy of that data and associated supplementary information. Under the DUAA 2025, we are required to respond to valid access requests within one month of receipt (or such extended period as is permitted by law).‍
• Right to rectification: You may ask us to correct inaccurate personal data we hold about you.‍
• Right to erasure: You may ask us to delete personal data about you in certain defined circumstances.‍
• Right to restriction of processing: You may ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data in defined circumstances.‍

The DUAA 2025 amends the rules on automated decision-making. Where we make decisions about you based solely on automated processing (including profiling) that produce legal or similarly significant effects, you have the right to:

•       be informed that such a decision has been made;

•       request a review of that decision by a competent human reviewer within our organisation; and

•       make representations about the decision.

We will identify any such automated decision-making in our Privacy Policy and provide a clear mechanism for you to exercise these rights.

International Data Transfers

We may transfer your personal data outside the United Kingdom. The DUAA 2025 introduces a revised framework for international transfers, replacing the prior adequacy regime with a data protection test assessed by the Secretary of State. Any transfers of your personal data to countries or territories outside the UK will only take place where appropriate safeguards are in place as required by the DUAA 2025 and the UK GDPR, including where the destination country has been approved via a UK adequacy or data bridge arrangement, or where other appropriate safeguards (such as UK International Data Transfer Agreements or Addenda) apply.
